For every *akʷā release we're collaborating with the cover artist to produce a limited edition. The editions will be different in size, form, material, run and price, but always offering you a way to own a physical memory of one of our records.
With *akʷā editions we are offering you a meaningful way to directly fund musicians you want to support: *akʷā will share 80% of profits made with the artists involved (40% for the musicians, 40% for the visual artists).
Meaning real money in musicians' pockets, most likely more then what's left after production costs of a vinyl record (which you may never play: read a fascinating study by the BBC here) and certainly more then the average $0.0038 per stream they get from Spotify (according to Songtrust).
